How your bodies pH value affects thyroid health

pH balance in the human body is the foundation of good health. It's like the GO square on a Monopoly board. It's the starting point of the whole health improvement game so to say. Without proper pH balance in your body, you're not even in the game when it comes to achieving vibrant health and energy.

The cells of the body extract nutrients from the blood most effectively when proper pH is maintained.

I have seen people taking bagfuls of supplements and not getting the results they expected. When they took the time and effort to balance the pH in their body, most were able to get better results with far fewer pills, teas or liquid supplements. (and most saved a lot of money too.)

We know that iodine is important to good thyroid health. Every molecule of thyroid hormone whether T3 or T4 contains iodine.

Iodine is absorbed most efficiently when proper pH is maintained. The chart below illustrates this point. Click image to enlarge.

Mineral Chart of Acceptance

We may be getting all the iodine in the world from our diet or supplements, but if we can't absorb and utilize it properly, what good does it do?
