How Chlorine and Flouride Can Negativly Affect the Thyroid.

It is commonly known that Iodine is critical to good thyriod health. The manufacture of thyroid hormones requires iodine. It's a basic building block ot thyroid hormones.

Chlorine and Flouride are in the same chemical family known as "Halogens" You can click here to view a periodic table of the elements.

The yellow column near the right is the halogen group. You can see F - for flourine at the top, with Cl - for chlorine below it, Br- for bromine and I is Iodine, element number 53.

If you click on the F and read the last paragraph you will see "Elemental fluorine and the fluoride ion are highly toxic"
